There really isn’t anything quite like that surreal feeling of bringing home your newborn baby as a first time parent. One of my absolute favorite parts of photographing families is getting to re-live that feeling a little through my clients.

Grace and Rob were so kind to welcome me into their home for their daughter’s newborn session. Their home had beautiful morning light flowing through the windows, and it made my job incredibly easy.

P.S. The majority of the photographs shared here were taken in their dining room because the light was particularly beautiful in there – proof that you really don’t need a perfectly-sunlit house to produce beautiful photos; all it takes is one or two good spots of sunlight to make magic happen!
